This 300 year old staircase had been "doctored" over the years. We stripped the paintwork and renovated the timber panelling. The handrail and newel post were renewed using oak.

With fresh paintwork and a detailed finish these stairs have a new lease of life.

This Victorian treatment of fireplace and alcoves has hidden structural decay behind, including crumbling plaster and stonework and rotting floor joists and boards.

Once made sound, a sympathetic restoration has created useful space whilst retaining all the original features.

The stone arch of this fireplace was replaced with a concrete lintel to make it easier to block up!

Our mason has re-instated the arch and repointed the stone wall.

The wooden floor of this pub was rotting and sagging in places.

We have replaced it with an insulated, re-inforced concrete slab and finished the floor in natural slate.

A practical but attractive solution for a seaside pub.

Much structural work was necessary to enable these King Trusses to be removed.

The result is a lovely light, open space.
